He earned his B.A. degree in History from Montclair State University in 2000; and his M.A. degree in Teaching/History from Rutgers University in 2007. Louie was a teacher at John H. Walker Middle School in Nutley for 16 years. His infectious smile and genuine personality put everyone at ease. His love of people, especially kids, was evident by the many lives he touched as a teacher, and a friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Louie can be made to a college trust fund for Louie’s children’s education.
