Obituary of Theresa M Kenworthy

Theresa M. Kenworthy, 81, formerly of Madison, NJ and more recently of Denville, NJ, passed away on February 3, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Irvington, NJ, Theresa resided in Madison for 46 years prior to moving to Denville. Theresa worked as a secretary for Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ and the College of St. Elizabeth, Morristown, NJ. She was a member of St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison, NJ, St. Catherine of Sienna, Mountain Lakes, NJ and St. Mary’s Church, Denville, NJ. She volunteered at the Cardinal Cook Guild, Morristown Soup Kitchen, Roots & Wings and Franciscan Oaks. Theresa is survived by her loving husband, Charles M. Kenworthy and her devoted children, Michael Kenworthy and his wife, Maureen Cole, Kevin Kenworthy and his wife, Cindy, Christopher Kenworthy, and Maribeth Kenworthy. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Robert Schuler and her cherished grandchildren, Sarah Kenworthy, Sean Kenworthy and Connor Kenworthy as well as her nephews and niece, Tommy, Steven, Brian and Cathy. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 2-5 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison,NJ. A Funeral Mass for Theresa will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, NJ 07940. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to Most Blessed Sacrament Friary, 375 13th Ave., Newark, NJ 07103.
