Obituary of Helen S Regazzi

Helen S. Regazzi, 89 years old, of Madison, NJ, passed away on April 27, 2016. She was born in Teaneck, NJ, and lived in Madison for 55 years. Helen graduated from the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station, NJ, in 1949. She worked as a teacher for more than 20 years in several schools including the Madison school system and Holy Family School, Florham Park. She also worked for Morris County Social Services for 15 years. She was a member of St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison, NJ and was active in numerous social outreach programs. Of particular note, she was a founding member of the Morristown area Meals on Wheels and served as its President for 30 years. Helen is survived by her devoted husband, John B. Regazzi and her daughters, Mary Ellen Miller and Elizabeth Maiello, her sons, John Robert Regazzi, and his wife, Carrie, and Paul Thomas Regazzi and his wife, Gerri. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Tom Dolcelli, Becky Miller, Alicia Miller, Catherine Luker, Theresa Maiello, PJ Maiello, Matthew Regazzi, Jessica Regazzi, Georgina Regazzi, Elizabeth Regazzi, Joseph Regazzi, Renee’ Regazzi, Paul Savage as well as her nephew Daniel Eramo and her niece, Dominique Viard. Family and friends are welcomed to gather on Sunday, May 1, 2016, from 3-5 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison, NJ 07940. A funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, Convent Station, NJ, 07960. Interment will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Shunpike Road and Noe Ave., Madison, NJ, 07940.
