Obituary of Peter Weinberg

Peter Louis Weinberg, 87, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2016 at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Boston, MA. Born on April 20, 1929 in Morristown, NJ, son of the late Abraham and Barbara (Glick) Weinberg, he resided in Bethlehem, PA for over 50 years. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marcia (Weinstock) Weinberg. He was a loving father to daughter Fran Weinberg Gardiner, of Needham, MA, and her husband Jeffrey Gardiner, and son Joel Weinberg of Wethersfield, CT, and his partner Lynn Mannix, and a loving grandfather to Daniel, Rachel and Benjamin. A graveside funeral service was held at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Cedar Knolls, NJ. A celebration of Peter’s life is being planned in Boston.
