Obituary of Margaret Lamasney

Margaret Lamasney, formerly of Ridgefield Park, NJ, more recently of Morris Township, NJ, passed away in Morris Township, NJ on June 4, 2015. She was 92 years old. Born in Scranton, PA, Margaret resided in Ridgefield Park, before moving to Morris Township 5 years ago. Margaret worked as a Branch Counsellor for The Bergen Record in Hackensack, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains, NJ. Margaret is survived by her devoted daughter, Mary Anne Lamasney and her husband, Brian O’Shea, of Morris Township, NJ; her beloved sister-in-law, Katherine O’Malley; her cherished granddaughters, Clare and Margaret O’Shea, both of Morris Township, NJ; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, John Lamasney (2005); her brother, Peter O’Malley; and her sister, Clare O’Malley. Visiting will be on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. A Funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Virgil’s Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
