John Francis ‘Jack’ Hoban, 44, of Morris Plains, NJ died at home on June 3, 2015, of cancer. Born in Teaneck, New Jersey, he was the youngest of five children of the late Patrick Hoban and Ellen Hoban Petrocelli. Jack is survived by his wife, Nina and their dog Rufus, his sisters Desiree Grunewald, Cheryl Mitchell and Dorothy Thorpe; brother Patrick Hoban, Jr.; step-father Frank Petrocelli; step-brothers Joseph Rossi and Scott Rossi; half-sister Margaret Hoban; as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends and colleagues. Jack grew up in North Bergen and Wallington, NJ, was a graduate of Wallington High School, and Western Kentucky University at Bowling Green, KY. He spent his career in the telecommunications industry, most recently as Business Manager – US Carriers for BlackBerry. Jack was a truly wonderful man – his absence leaves a hole in so many hearts.
