Obituary of Marie T. Cecere

Marie Theresa Cecere (nee Melchionne), age 85, formerly of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. She was the widow of Lawrence Anthony Cecere, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. They resided in Caldwell, NJ for 30 years where they raised three daughters. Marie had an independent spirit and special gift of finding good in everyone. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her family and 6 grandchildren. Marie is survived by three loving daughters and their families. Elaine and husband Thomas Rago; grandchildren Eva and Thomas, Lauren and husband Tom Taveroni; grandchildren Drew and Joseph, Lynda and grandchildren Ryan and Mitchel McHugh. A memorial service will be held at the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1 E. Oak Street, Basking Ridge, NJ, on Saturday, December 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
