Obituary of Howard S. Dubin

Howard S. Dubin, 85, of Morristown, passed away at Morristown Medical Center on December 19, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Howard resided in Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts before moving to New Jersey 22 years ago. Howard graduated from Central High School and Temple University, both in Philadelphia, PA. Howard was a distinguished artist, and worked in the supermarket industries. Most recently, he worked as Office Manager for his wife, Deborah C. Block, MD. He was also a member of Temple B’Nai Or in Morristown. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his children, Lauren Dubin, and Karen Dubin, both of New York; and his step-sons, Aaron Block, and his wife, Meredith, of Boston, MA, and Jacob Block, and his wife, Bethany, of San Francisco, CA. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Juliet, Ari, Eli, Estelle, and Isaac. A Funeral Service for Howard will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 11:00am at Temple B’Nai Or, 60 Overlook Road, Morristown. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Cedar Knolls. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in memory of Howard may be made to: Pediatric Center of Excellence Fund, c/o Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South Street, 1st Floor, Morristown, NJ 07960. Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
