Obituary of Robert G Moser

Robert G. Moser, 91, of Florham Park, passed away on June 19, 2015. He was born in New Castle, PA and lived in Denville and Chatham until moving to Florham Park 18 years ago. He graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. He worked as a Chemist and Packaging Engineer at Colgate-Palmolive, Jersey City, for 44 years until his retirement. After retiring, he became an Antiques Dealer in Lambertville and Summit. Robert was a member of St. Patrick RC Church, Chatham, NJ. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus of Livingston and the Masons. He is survived by his wife, Betty A. Moser and his children, Barbara Mattson, Robert Moser MD, Susan Cohen and Jeffrey Williamson. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Moser, David Moser and his sister, Alice Morrow, and his grandchildren, Richard Gould, Karl C. Mattson, Amy Quinn, Kristen Mattson, Rachel Vassak, Alexander Moser, Stacy Carbone, Steven Cohen, Scott Cohen and six great-grandchildren as well as his caregivers, Murl Patrick and Pinky Moses and his beloved cat, Goldie. Robert was pre-deceased by his first wife, Marjorie Frankenberger. Visitation will be on Monday, June 22, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Burroughs, Kohr and Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Avenue, Chatham. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florham Park First Aid Squad, 60 Felch Road, Florham Park, NJ 07932.
