Obituary of Eugenia A Gargiulo

Eugenia “Genie” Mueller Gargiulo Genie Gargiulo of Madison, N.J., born March 7, 1935, passed away February 22, 2017. Genie married Bill Gargiulo in 1955 and after a few moves eventually settled in Madison in 1973. Genie worked at the Fountain of Vitality in Chatham for over 15 years where she shared her love for people and made life-long friendships. She also spent almost 20 years volunteering on the Madison Ambulance Corp. To Genie raising her five boys and being with friends and family brought her the greatest pleasure. She also loved being by the water at the Jersey shore and at her cabin on Lake Swannanoa. She enjoyed the simple pleasures such as reading, needlework or just sitting peacefully on a quiet bench. Genie was predeceased by her son Bernard “Bernie” William Jr. in 1989. Genie is survived by her sister Carol Gartner and her husband Bob of North Carolina and her brother Bob and his wife Bonnie of Wharton, N.J. Her four sons, Frank and his wife Kathy of Madison, N.J., Wayne and his wife Suzanne of River Vale, N.J., Arnold of Garland, TX and Stanley and his wife Michelle of Landing, N.J. Genie will also be deeply missed by her twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are private.
