Obituary of Maria Grisanti

~~Maria Grisanti, 78, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2017 in Palermo, Italy. She was born in Palermo, Italy and lived in Middletown, NJ, prior to moving to Morris Plains, NJ, five years ago. She worked as a seamstress until her retirement.

Maria is survived by her loving children, Carolina Garavaglia and her husband, Michael, Morris Plains, NJ, Frank Grisanti and his wife, Josephine, Brooklyn, NY, as well as her sisters, Giovanna Rizzo and her husband, Mike, Brooklyn, NY, Rosa Guerrera and her husband, John, Staten Island, NY and Francesca Cappellano in Mangiapane and her husband, Giuseppe, Palermo, Italy. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Mariella, Tyler, Rosalinda, and her nieces and nephews, Francesca, Vincenzo, Luigi, Girolamo and Mario.

She was predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe B. Grisanti, in June 2005.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, August 18, 2017, from 4-8 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, NJ 07950. The visitation will include a funeral service at 7 pm. Interment will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 10:00 am at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway 35, Red Bank, NJ  07701.
