Obituary of Raymond T. Tiso, Jr.

~~Raymond T. Tiso, Jr., 42, passed away on October 14, 2017 in East Stroudsburg, PA.


Born in Duluth, MN, Raymond resided in Haskell, NJ and Butler, NJ before he moved to East Stroudsburg, PA, five years ago.


Raymond graduated from Lakeland Regional High School and attended County College of Morris. He worked as a Carwasher and Inside Package Handler for UPS, Parsippany, for 17 years. He proudly served active duty in the US Navy from 1994-1996 and continued in the Reserves until 2002.  Raymond was a Past Master of the Genesis Lodge #88 of Free and Accepted Masons.


Raymond is survived by his loving mother, Mary Tiso, Morris Plains; his devoted sisters, Marta Skrutskie, and her husband, George, Chester, NY, and Annette Tiso, Morris Plains; and his cherished nephews and niece Kyle Skrutskie, Brielle Skrutskie and Colin Tiso.


Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 1-3pm & 7-9 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Raymond will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. Virgil’s Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment of Raymond’s ashes will be at a later date at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.


In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Raymond’s memory to the American Heart Foundation (www.heart.org).
