~~Eileen Nelson ( Larkin ), devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 5th at Franciscan Oaks, Denville, NJ, surrounded by the deep love of her family and friends and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Predeceased by her husband of fifty seven years  Francis Xavier, ( d. 2013 ) she is survived by her children: two daughters; Susan de Faria and her husband Ralph, of Toms River, NJ, Kathleen McGlew and her husband James, of Mountainside, NJ, two sons;  Frank Nelson and his wife Tobey of New York City and Jack J. Mrs. Nelson attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ where she met her husband Francis X. Nelson. They married on February 4th, 1956 at Sacred Heart Church in Jersey City.

She was a long time former resident of Morris Township and an active parishioner of St. Virgil's Church serving as a member of the Rosary Society in many capacities.

Eileen was a proud Irish lady who never missed a St. Patrick's Day parade or an opportunity to make her famous Irish soda bread for all her family and friends. She shared with everyone she knew the wonderful Irish heritage she was a part of, which along with her faith and her family, defined her life in so many positive and uplifting ways.
