Obituary of Mary Boller Delmonico

Mary Boller Delmonico, 94, of Morris Township passed away at home on January 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in New York City, Mary resided in Morris Township for 57 years. She graduated from Morristown High School. Mary worked as a Telephone Operator for New Jersey Bell until she and her husband started their family. She was also a parishioner of St. Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains.

In her spare time, Mary enjoyed oil painting, creating stained glass, playing bridge, baking, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Mary’s life motto was, “Keep moving and praying.”

Mary is survived by her devoted children, Eugene, Jr. and his wife, Marita, of Morris Township, Glenn, of Seaside Park, George, of Little Egg Harbor, and Sharon Becker, of San Diego. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Glenn, Kevin and his wife, Melissa, George and his wife, Bobbi, Gene, Jillian, and Tim and his wife Denia; as well as her nine adored great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Delmonico, Sr. in 2000.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-7pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Mary will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Virgil’s Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Mausoleum, Morris Township.
