Obituary of Robert A Bloom

Robert "Bob" Alan Bloom, 72, of New Providence, NJ passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015. Bob was a graduate of Morristown High School in 1961 and then began his 40 year career with Shoprite. He was a resident of Morristown and New Providence. Bob loved listening and dancing to all kinds of music, especially any songs from the 1950's era. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoying many games with his daughter and passing this passion on to her. Bob was very personable and outgoing, always enjoying time with his family and friends. Bob is survived by his daughter Kim Denice and her husband Nick of Cedar Knolls, former wife Kathy Veiga of Livingston, sister Carol Snyder and her husband Bob of Ocala, FL, grandson Nicky and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Bloom and brother Steve Bloom. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Dangler Funeral Home at 600 Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains, NJ on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 1:00pm. A private interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
