Obituary of Martha Harriet Moran

Martha H. Moran of Ramsey NJ passed away on August 5, 2015 after a short illness. She was born in Dunmore, PA, and lived in West Orange, NJ, prior to moving to Ramsey, NJ. Martha was a Business Administrator for ATT Bell Labs, Whippany, NJ, and Lucent Alcatel, Holmdel, NJ. She graduated from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ with a BS degree in Business Administration. She received the Wall Street Journal Award for Proficiency in Business Studies. She is survived by her twin sister, Sister Mary Louise Moran, a Sister of Charity of St. Elizabeth, of Ramsey, NJ. She is also survived by five nieces and five nephews as well as 11 grand nieces, 6 grand nephews, one great grand- niece and one great grand- nephew. Martha was the daughter of the late architect, Robert P. Moran and his wife, Cecelia L Moran, of West Orange, NJ. She was predeceased by her brother, John P. Moran, Princeton, NJ, and Robert E. Moran, Glastonbury, CT. Visiting hours will be on Friday, 8/7/2015 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St. Madison, NJ . A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 8/8/2015 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Chapel, 2 Convent Road, Convent Station, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Convent Station, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Martha’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or Seton Associates, Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth, PO Box 476, Convent Station, NJ 07961.
