Obituary of David P Smith

David P. Smith P.E., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday August 30, 2015. He was born September 10, 1935 to the late Henry H. Smith and Vera Moehrle Smith in Buffalo, NY. David leaves his loving wife, Shirley, and four children, Amy Beal and her husband, Douglas, Ann Scotland and her husband, Keith , Aaron Smith and his wife, Dawn, and Jason Smith and his wife, Lauren, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by his sister, Diane Gibson . David graduated in 1959 from the University of Illinois in Champaign , IL where he obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He retired as a vice President of STV Inc. He achieved many accomplishments in the engineering field , including Project manager of the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail System. David was a wonderful family man, adoring each and every one. David was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He was an expert in Buffalo Bills trivia.
