Obituary of Helen Louise Hunt

 Helen Louise Hunt, 90, of Morris Plains, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 14, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA. Helen is preceded in death, by her husband John B. Hunt, and is survived by her children John W. Hunt (Susan), Robert A. Hunt (Kathy), and Pamela J. (Hunt) Kelly (Tadhg); her grandchildren, Jason Hunt, Jessica Weil, Liam Kelly, Meaghan Kelly, Tyler and Zachery Hunt; her great-grandchildren Ethan and Gavin Hunt, Charlotte and Corrine Weil and Declan and Maeve Kelly. Helen is also survived by her loving sisters Dorothy Sneddon (David Sneddon deceased), Jane Zilka (Kathy Larkin) as well as many loving relatives and friends. Helen will be fondly remembered as living a full and vibrant life dedicated to her family, friends and community.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 70 Maple Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to https://www.wammc.org/donate “Scholarship” (Women’s Association Morristown Medical Center) in Helen’s memory.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the dedicated team of healthcare providers for their care and support during Helen’s final days.  She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
