Obituary of Zoya Klimovich
Zoya Klimovich, 93, of Morristown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9th. Zoya was born in Minsk, Belarus, to Cecilia Okuneva (Schuhman) and Petr Rahk. In addition to her parents, Zoya is preceded in death by her brother Boris, and by her beloved husband, Dmitriy. Zoya was a history teacher and, later in life, a librarian. She enjoyed spending time with her family, walking in the park, and doing crossword puzzles. Inquisitive and energetic until the very end, Zoya loved reading, traveling and exploring.
Everyone who knew Zoya knew of her kindness, altruism and her positive outlook on life. Zoya is survived by her son, Peter, daughter Yelena, son-in-law, Alexander, granddaughters Marina and Olga, extended loving family in Belarus, and wonderful friends on both sides of the ocean.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16th, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ. A private interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 19th at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to your favorite charity in memory of Zoya.
