Obituary of Kim Elizabeth Kiely

Kim Elizabeth Kiely, age 62, of Morristown, NJ, passed away on March 7, 2025 at home.

The wake and visitation will be at 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Dangler Funeral Home (600 Speedwell Ave., Morristown, NJ). The Funeral Mass is at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at St. Joseph's, Mendham, NJ (6 New St, Mendham). Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill, Chester, NJ.

Kim was born in Clark, NJ, to Suzie and Wallace Lakin on March 11, 1962. She went to high school at Mendham High School and graduated in 1980. She obtained her Associate's Degree at the County College of Morris. She worked at the Seeing Eye for several years.

She delighted in taking care of her family, sailing and swimming with her boys, John and Dan, every summer at Culver Lake, NJ. She enjoyed many activities with her pets and enjoyed horseback riding, especially with her mother.

Kim is survived by her husband, Timothy Kiely; her son John Wallace Leahy, of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; her son Daniel Leahy, of Morristown, NJ; her sister Donna Auguste, of Dingman's Ferry, PA; her brother Jeffrey Lakin, of Stuart, FL; and her step-father Michael Dickerson of Matamoras, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Suzie and Wallace Lakin.
