Obituary of Helen Marie Norton

Helen Marie Norton passed away peacefully in Morris Plains on Sunday, April, 6, 2025 at the age of 87. Born in Morristown on December 8, 1937, Helen worked at Shoprite for 49 years before retiring in November 2008.

Helen was an avid reader, and loved crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved vacationing at the Jersey Shore. Her most fond vacations were spent in Maine, Florida, California, Lake Louise, British Columbia, and Alaska.

Helen is predeceased by her beloved parents Catherine and Joseph Davis, her brothers Joseph, Franklin and Robert Davis, her sisters Evelyn Keyser, Margaret Herudek, and her nephew John T. Keyser.  She is survived by her son Robert Norton and his wife Joann, her grandson Robert Norton, Jr., her granddaughters Ashley and Colleen Norton, and many nephews and nieces.

Viewing will be held at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue Morris Plains, NJ 07950 on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 2-6pm

Funeral will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, 100 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981. Interment will follow Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
