Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Elizabeth “Beth”  McNichol
January 4, 1967 – April 12, 2025

Beth McNichol, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on January 4, 1967, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Beth was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Morris Catholic High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Albright College in1989.  During her college years, Beth was proud to be a Sister of Sigma Kappa Sorority, where she formed a lifelong bond with her best friend, Tracey Hostler (Brian), a friendship she cherished deeply.

Beth began her professional journey at Prudential Insurance, later advancing to serve as Chief Operating Officer at Rabobank Nederland in New York City. Driven by both passion and entrepreneurial spirit, she took time away from the corporate world to open and operate her own wine and cheese shop in Chicago. For 17 years, she was the proud co-owner of Wine & Cheese by TCC with close friend Anna Trost.  Most recently, Beth brought her expertise and thoughtful leadership to Wells Fargo as a Business Execution Consultant.

Beth was a devoted member of the Cedar Lake community, where she held various positions on the board of the Cedar Lake Property Owners Association. She was always willing to lend a helping hand at community events and was known for her generous spirit and dedication.

Beth was known for her warmth, welcoming home, her humor, and her deep love of life. In her free time, if she wasn’t out on the golf course or browsing the shops at Short Hills Mall, she could often be found enjoying peaceful moments on her deck overlooking the lake—sipping a glass of wine, listening to music, and spending time with her beloved dog, Roo. She especially treasured their walks around the lake, which brought her great joy. But above all, Beth’s greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her adored nieces—Casey and Taylor McNichol, and Georgia Hostler.

Beth is survived by her two brothers and their spouses John and Beth McNichol; Patrick and Sheryl McNichol.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Arlene McNichol.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a visitation on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1-3pm, with Words of Remembrance at 3pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains.

Those who wish to honor her life can make a donation in her memory to American Beagle Relief Network (https://ambrnet.org/in-memoriam/).
