Obituary of Dr. Morton Louis Wertheimer, DDS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Morton Louis Wertheimer, a founder of Gottesman RTW Academy, formerly Nathan Bohrer-Abraham Kaufmann Hebrew
Academy of Morris County.

A pillar of his community, Morty is survived by his wife Carol “Cookie” Wertheimer, father to Ruth Bymel ‘77 z”l (Billy), Naomi Bacharach’79 (Jason), Aviva Will ’82 (Kurt) and Shira Green ’84
(Ethan): brother to Miriam Seelenfreund, Shirley Jungreis z”l, and Leon Wertheimer; and grandfather to Philip, William, Elizabeth, Sam ’11, Sarah ’12, Hannah, Jakob, Solomon and Yael. 

As a founder of the school, the funeral will take place on Monday, April 21st, 11am, at Gottesman RTW Academy, 146 Dover Chester Road, Randolph, NJ 07869. Interment will follow at Mount Freedom Hebrew Cemetery, Randolph, NJ. 

May Hashem comfort the mourners among those of Zion and Yerushalayim.Donations can be made in his memory to the school.
