Obituary of Bryan Paul Kull

Please share a memory of Bryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bryan Paul Kull (b. January 23, 1960) passed away on April 29th, 2025 after years of intense and hard-fought battles with health complications, dating all the way back to the year 2000 when he was diagnosed with colon cancer. The most recent complications had been surrounding his liver. What ultimately led to his passing was a series of complex infections that his body was unable to fight off. Despite setbacks, Bryan always remained determined to regain his health, exploring any and all treatment options. Most importantly, Bryan always fought through pain and inconveniences to spend time with friends and family.

Bryan was a devoted husband to Lindsay, loving father to his son Taylor and daughter Katie, and a proud grandfather (“PopPop”) to five, with a sixth grandchild on the way. Bryan was raised in Randolph, NJ with his brother Brad and sister Dawn by Paul and Joan Kull. He enjoyed an active childhood and went on to play semi-professional hockey. He earned a BS in Management from Keene State College and an MBA from Southern Illinois University. His career in marketing and sales brought him to companies such as Warner Lambert Company, Schering-Plough, Keebler, and Gallup. Bryan was a longtime member of the Triathlon Federation and a member of the Association of MBA Executives.

He and Lindsay built a strong network of friends and community connections in Long Valley, NJ, where they raised their family. He continued his childhood traditions of summering at the Jersey Shore, by gathering friends and family each summer to crab, fish, and boogie-board. He could spend hours on the beach engulfed in activity and swimming.  Bryan also always continued his passion for sports from his youth. He participated in multiple triathlons throughout his 20’s and 30’s. He loved attending sporting events, most notably lacrosse, traveling as far up to Boston and down Virginia for his son’s tournaments over the summers.

Bryan is survived by his wife Lindsay Kull; his son Taylor and his wife Stephanie Kull with their children Gianna, Adrianna, and Antonia; as well as his daughter Katie and her husband Timothy Simon with their children James, Evelyn, and their third child due in June. He is also survived by his siblings Brad and his wife Edna Kull, and Dawn and her husband Dave Kluchinski. He joins his parents, Paul and Joan Kull, in Heaven.

A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held Thursday, May 8th, 4pm, at the Presbyterian Church of Morris Plains, 400 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950. All, including the joyful noise of children, are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to the incredible Liver Transplant Team at University Hospital (Bryan Paul Kull Memorial Fund). While time was ultimately not on their side, this dedicated team worked tirelessly and with immense admiration for Bryan.

Arrangements are under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
