Peggy and I cannot believe that Carol and You are in heaven. You will be missed by so many. We last texted less than a month ago. I knew we both were fighting Cancer, but I did not think it was this close. But being the true gentleman that you are you let Carol go first, and you went the following day. We admire you for that. I hope you are at the “Pearly Gates” when it is time to meet me. So many memories.... Where do I start... Thanksgiving Dinner 1957 at 9 Milton Place. That was the 1st time I recalled the Dining Room table was fully open from the windows over to about 2 feet from the wall for the stairs. If I recall, there had to be at least 15 or more sitting at that table. You and I were there, and Grandma & Kate were cooking up for everybody. As the years moved on, we had more dinners at that table, but never that number of people. (Unknown to me) that started my knowledge to want to know more about my family. I would ask Grandma Mulvaney about whomever I happen to think of. Mainly Grandpa Christopher Mulvaney, as I have never met him. This happened many times over the years and the many events that took place. She told me so many stories about various family members that I could not remember them all, up until when Grandma passed. But when I started doing the “Family Tree” some of the details of various events I was able to recall, and I felt that Grandma was sitting with me. I remembered another time Aunt Kate asked you to teach me how to drive a "Standard Shift" car. Lucky you just happened to have a Volkswagen Bettle, that never would be the same after I learned to drive it. In 2 days, I learned how to grind off more teeth on a standard transmission, and yet you kept smiling. Kate must have paid you well. Thank you for teaching me. Ever since, anytime I drive a standard transmission I smile and recall that weekend. Just one of the many memories we shared together over the many years. As time moved on in our lives, we would get together for one reason or another. We both went to college and served in the military. You the Army, 2 years in Vietnam, and me in the Air Force, 2 years in England, then 4 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Carol and you got married after you got out of the Army, and stayed that way, for the next 55 years. I got married before I went into the Air Force, (1972) only to be divorced when I got back from England. (1975). Then I was searching for who I was, and that was a good thing, because I like you to find me a good wife quite a few years later. (1993) My Peggy is an angel to put up with me all these years. (1996 to present) Like the circle of life, And so, our lives go. In 2012, I started my quest for finding my family history in Ancestry.com. I started doing it in little blocks of time, and after getting into it and running into roadblocks. I thought of you, Liz, and Paul Allison, and reached out for assistance. You and Paul & Liz were glad to help if you could. Before my sister Liz passed in 2008. She showed me some photo albums and various other information that she had and knew it would help me. But she did not want to share and never let me have it. I asked Paul to share it with me, but nothing ever happened. Upon his passing, Rick gathered all of the photo albums etc. and passed them along to me. That is what the 10/20/21 picture of the 3 of us in the backyard of 9 Milton Place is all about. In the photo, you can see just a few of the many books, albums, etc. We all agreed that I would have them shipped to Florida to look through to finally find the answers to our many questions about our family. From that day forward Rick, you and I would find out about our Grandfather Mulvaney, and Seaton Hackney Farm. Plus, we had fun trying to ID the various relatives and our friends of the family. Then we both started to learn about the various members of our family tree. So now I am on my own again, but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all the assistance you have provided me with this project. I will always be indebted to you and Carol for your assistance in our lives. Although. I have almost completed the book, I am still finding various information, and hoping I find someone to continue the journey before I pass. God speed Gerald Hugh Bischoff, and Carol Ann Walker Bischoff, we’re gonna miss ya!!

Mom and Dad B.,
You will be missed! You raised an amazing daughter and I am so lucky to call her my wife. I will never forget the day I drove from Maryland to New Jersey to ask for your blessing to marry Alison. She was working that day so I drove up in the morning. You greeted me with lunch, peanut butter cookies (and a lot of questions!) While we were talking Alison called me. She asked me what I was doing and I told her I was at Home Depot. We hung up and continued chatting. She called again and I said I was still at Home Depot. You looked at me said "did she believe you? This is one big trip to Home Depot!" We had a good laugh, (luckily you gave me your blessing), and I left so excited to become part of your family.
You raised an amazing daughter and I am so lucky to have her in my life. I am thankful to you both for all you've done for our family. Thank you for being such wonderful grandparents to our children, Tim, Matthew and Grace.
Love, Bob

Nanny and Pop Pop were two of our favorite people! We miss them
so much.
Pop was always so fun to be with and always made time to play with us. He would love to play and draw and teach us how to fish. He loved to hear about school and Boy Scouts and remind us that “hard work pays off.” Pop always loved to eat ice cream with us. Even if we didn’t always finish our food he said it was ok and we still got our ice cream! Coffee and pistachio were his favorite.
Nanny would always send us text messages and funny pictures. When we were together she loved to dance and listen to music. She made the best Spice Bars and joked about her “secret family recipe.” Even mommy has tried (but failed!) to make them the same way. Nanny loved listening to the music of “Mama Mia” on their car rides down to visit us- she would send us videos of her and Pop singing along. We will think of them each time we hear those songs.
Last spring, , Nanny and Pop Pop helped us plant several rose bushes in our yard which have attracted so many beautiful butterflies. Now, when we see those butterflies, we will know that they've stopped by for a little visit.

Side by side or miles apart,
sisters are always close at heart.
Reflecting back on our shared experiences together, we were always known as the “Walker girls” of Hill Road in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Carol was our middle sister, Susan Gray was the oldest, and Nancy Coniglio the youngest. Carol was also an integral part of our weddings. She was Susan's and Nancy's maid of honor. There are so many fond memories of our life together. We were an active family. Our winters were typically spent sledding at Echo Lake and ice skating on a pond in Westfield, New Jersey. We loved visiting our Polish grandparents – our Babci and Dziadziu – in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania almost every summer. Dziadziu would take us for rides in his antique truck to go apple picking with our cousins. Typically, we would ride in the truck bed and he would slow down where we could grab “the best” apples. Our mother always made our Easter outfits – matching of course! That's where Carol got her love of sewing. Our mother and aunts loved to bake. Carol did, too! She made the best walnut bars (a recipe from Aunt Helen). We talked with her often and now that she is gone we will truly miss her.
Love, Susan and Nancy

We are so sad to hear about Carol and Gerry’s passing. I worked with Carol for many years at Paramount and Summit Health. She was a wonderful nurse. When she stopped working she came to help with my kids in the afternoons when I was at work. Our whole family was so fond of her and we will miss her. I know how proud she was of her children and grandchildren.

Very sad to hear of the passing of my dear friend Jerry and his Carol. Jerry and I spent a over a year together in the Army Viet Nam as best friends enduring the mud, the heat and the fear while laughing and comiserating together on our circumstances. I will miss our chats on the phone and annual Xmas greetings with each other. Happy Trails...

Dear Mom,
I keep waiting for my phone to beep with a text from you! Even though we live apart, talking on the phone, texting, and FaceTiming everyday is what has sustained me! Everyday I would look forward to hearing your voice or reading a sweet message from you. Every time I’d get a text the kids would say “mom, it’s Nanny again!” I wish you were here to talk with.
Your smile would light up a room and there was always a beautiful spark about you! You shined in all that you did and made those around you shine too. You always loved the fanfare of life and despite some challenges along the way, you rose above it and carried us through. Thank you for sharing your journey with me. I love you, rest easy! Dear Dad,
I miss you so much! A lifetime of memories are flooding from me, too many to count but all to be remembered. Thank you for always giving me advice, always offering encouragement and telling me “you’re doing a good job honey, keep it up!” I always felt loved and supported by your gentle presence.
One of my favorite times spent together was our wedding day! You were so happy I met such a special person in Bob. I remember your speech at our reception … you hoped the Navy wouldn’t take us too far away yet you told us to spread our wings and fly! And despite having a cold, you were quick with the jokes and made everybody laugh.. You told me how beautiful I was and said you could see happiness radiating from me. I will always be proud to call you Dad and honored to have been loved by you. Rest easy. I love you, Alison oxox

Mom and Dad,
I miss you and I love you so much! I can’t put into words a lifetime of amazing memories. I couldn’t have asked for better parents! You always taught me the good values in life and always taught me to be kind. I have tried to live every day making you proud and I hope I did a good job. You helped me make difficult decisions growing up and always guided me with love and support even if I made a mistake. You have always made me feel loved and supported every day of my life. I will miss our daily morning chats and look forward to the time when we can be together again. In the meantime, I will continue to make you proud as you keep watch over me and my family and watch your beautiful grandchildren grow
up. I already missed the sound of your voices and the twinkle in your eyes, and I am comforted in knowing that you are together (and I’m sure Dad, that Mom is chatting away and still bossing you
around! Ha!) I will see you both again soon. I love you so much, rest easy. Love, Alison

Nan and Pop,
We miss and love you so much! We know we will be together again. Thank you for always loving us and guiding us. Pop- thank you for teaching us how to fish and how to fix things. You always had a project in the works, even at our house! You always had a good joke and would make us laugh so hard. We will miss your laughing smile. Nanny- thank you for making the best spice bars and for always making time to text us funny messages. I’ll miss my texting buddy. (Matthew) I remember dancing with
Nanny and trimming the roses. (Grace) I remember fishing with Pop and loved hearing his stories about when he fished with his dad. We miss you already and will love you forever. Whenever our visits were over, we always said “see you soon” instead of “goodbye”… so Nanny and Pop Pop, we will see you soon. Love, Tim, Matt and Grace oxox

Nan and Pop, I love you guys so much. You were people I would always come to if I needed help, advice, a laugh, or really just wanted someone to talk to. Thank you so much for picking me up after school, and having conversations with me even if they were just short ones. Thank you Nan for always gossiping with me and hanging out with me like one of my girl best friends. You always used to come in my room with me and look at all my new clothes and perfumes, and I remember one time you said “if you don’t want this perfume i’ll take it” as I laughed and ended up giving it to you. You are the most beautiful women I have ever met and thank you for being my bestfriend. Pop, thank you so much for always putting a smile on my face and making me laugh no matter what. Just a couple days ago we were sitting in the car together and you asked me “What would you like to be when you are older” i said “Im not really sure” as I really hadn’t ever thought about it. You responded to me by saying “You should be a nurse, you would be good at it”. You helped me figure out what i want to be when i’m older, as I now want to pursue being in the nursing field. I will always be your “glamour girl” as you used to call me, forever. I am always holding your guys’s hands, from the day I was born, to the day you guys passed away. Thank you so much Nan and Pop for all the sweet and thoughtful memories you created for me, and turning me into the person I am today, truthfully I couldn’t do it without you guys. You guys were always there even through my hardest times, and I can’t thank you enough. Thank you for always being here for me and Sean, and being our best friends. I will forever keep memories of you guys in my life through pictures I carry in my phone case, jewelry you give me, or even just gestures I do that remind me of you guys. I love you, and i’m always following and praying to you guys ❤️ I cant wait to see you guys again one day❤️

Gerry and Carol were a wonderful couple. Gerry was my late husband, Hugh Lordon’s, college roommate. Hugh was always fond of Gerry and the times they spent together.
I can recall being at Carol and Gerry’s wedding. It was a beautiful day and I always told Carol, she was the most stunning bride I’d ever seen. She truly was!
At my husband’s memorial luncheon Gerry and Carol were so kind to my young grandchildren. My grandchildren would always ask about the nice man and woman. Children have a second sense and they could tell at a young age how special Carol and Gerry were. They will be missed.
