Obituary of George Edward Nevrincean

George Edward Nevrincean passed away on June 20, 2025, in Morristown, NJ, following a brief illness. He was 81 years old.

George resided in Morris Plains, NJ, for the past 10 years. He had previously lived in Whippany, NJ; Savannah, GA; and Hainesport, NJ. Born February 1944, in Lower Merion, PA, George was raised in Whippany, NJ. He attended Hanover Park High School but completed his senior year and graduated in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, where his father, a Bell Labs engineer, was on assignment.

From 1964 to 1967, George proudly served in the U.S. Army, spending most of his service in Germany. He was honorably discharged with the rank of E-4.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Paterson College.

He started his career at Foster Wheeler Corp. in Livingston, NJ and also served as assistant registrar at the County College of Morris before moving to Georgia. He then worked as a facilities manager for Union Camp in Savannah, GA, retiring in 1998.

Following retirement, he served on the board of his community association in Hainesport for several years before relocating to Morris Plains.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia; three children: son David Bean, and daughters Catherine Mitchell (Patrick) and Laura Donnelly (Michael); five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy, and was predeceased by his brother, Fred.

George was known for his gentle spirit, warm sense of humor, and big heart. A loyal, longtime friend and thoughtful listener, he will be deeply missed.

Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 2-4pm, with a Prayer Service at 3:30pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, NJ.
