I just received the news of Frank's passing today and am saddened that another Kreitler brother is gone. Frank was a good friend of my husband Mike, and when he visited Arizona there was always a round of golf, lots of stories and a few drinks involved. They would talk on the phone regularly and I always admired Frank's positive attitude as he navigated his health struggles. He was there for Mike as he navigated his as well. We were fortunate to have known Frank and his brothers Bill and Bob since the 1980's and I know my husband was grateful for the genuine friendships with these men. I am glad that he had a fulfilling life and a wonderful family and I know he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to you all.
Rest in Peace,
Judi Truesdell

Patti, Tara and Jonathan,
Words can't describe how heartbroken I am, once again, with the loss of my buddy Frankie. I remember meeting him for the first time on September 9th 1972, when he showed up as a wingman for my 1st date with my Herb. Needless to say.. first impressions didn't impress me since he almost caused this long awaited date to be canceled. ( our running joke for 50 years) But that night actually began my own love story with my Herb and an incredible lifelong friendship with both Frank and Patti for over 50 years. Frank was in our wedding - Herb was in theirs. Frank and Patti became our son Herb's godparents, born 5 days after their wedding and some years later Herb and I became Jonathans. Our friendship has seen us through many get togethers and lots of parties always celebrating something; births, baptisms, communions, confirmations, weddings and even deaths of loved ones.
But what our friendship has celebrated most is love for our families, our friends and most of all one another.
When I lost my Herb, Frank said he told Herb he would watch over me .... and for the last 13 years he did just that. He was the one person who continually checked in on me just to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. He was that friend who went beyond for people he cared about and for that I will be forever grateful. He made me laugh and he made me cry but I always knew I could count on him if I needed too. I will miss his phone calls, his text messages but most I will miss his genuine friendship. He was a really good man.
The only thing which brings comfort is knowing my Herb has his wingman back and I can only imagine the ruckus they are causing being together again.
Thank you Patti for always sharing him all these years. Rest in peace Frankie... I love you buddy. XOXO Robbie

Frank was The oldest of 7 children. God knew to create him first. He was there when anyone needed a helping hand. I always remember him saying "don't worry about it". He loved to socialize and debate with others. He was a good Brother to all of us. He will be missed.
Rest in peace

Frank was one of a kind. I met frank around 10 years ago while working at Fox Hollow Golf Club. Frank always wanted to make sure everyone around him was okay, and if there was a problem, he wanted to fix it. I always looked forward to asking Frank for insight, and advice with anything going on. For the last few years, I have been blessed to have traveled with Frank and his friends to Casa De Campo in the Dominican Republic. We sure had some good memories there, and it will not be the same without him.
My condolences and condolences from everyone at Fox Hollow

Frank was one of the good ones. One of the best. No pretense. Always direct. What you saw was what you got. He could talk with anyone but he would also listen. Frank was my dear cousin and 10 years my senior. I regarded him as a close friend but he was more than that. He always looked after me and always had my best interests at heart. He enriched my life and the lives of countless others. The world is a better place because of him. I was blessed to have him in my life. We all were.

To the Kreitler family, my sincerest condolences. I met Frank through Cousin Bill Coen. We went to the DR on Frank’s annual golf outing and Frank could not have been more welcoming. We’ve been attending this event annually since and have played Fox Hollow as well. Frank has always been kind hearted and a real friend. I will miss him this year at Casa de Campo. Frank is at rest and looking down on us.

I knew Frank for over 60 years and he never changed.
He would always give you his opinion honestly with the bark on it.
If he considered you a friend, you knew how loyal he was.
His loyalty to his friends and family was also extended to his Alma mater, his Yuengling and his beloved Arizona. RIP FXK

Frank was a good brother who always looked out for me. I lived with Frank and Patti when I returned to NJ years ago and he took me under his wing, for which I’ll always be grateful.
Frank loved spending time with family and friends but his biggest passion was helping others. He was everybody’s guy. If he couldn’t help, he’d find someone who could.
He loved bs-ing and having a debate and if you had differing opinions, he’d still sit at the bar with you to share a beer and a laugh. That hearty laugh will surely be missed.
We find comfort knowing Frank will still bs and debate with loved ones who have welcomed him into his final resting place.
The Kreitler family is thankful for everyone’s love, friendship, and support shown especially during these last few difficult months.
Rest in peace big brother. You will be missed by many.
Love,
Jane Kreitler Dane

The Kane family mourns with the rest of Florham Park from those good old days. A friend from the beginning - he was one of the greats. We have many, many fond memories of him - and Patty! With what's going on in the world today, it would be great if we could be a little bit like Frankie Kreitler. Condolences and love to the family.
