Evelyn Nash, 90, of Madison, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Born in Newark, NJ to James Dunlevy and Helen (Conroy) Dunlevy, Evelyn was the sister to Edward Dunlevy, James Dunlevy and Andrew Dunlevy.
Evelyn grew up in Newark, where she met her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Nash. They married in 1957 and settled in Madison in the late 1960’s.
Evelyn was a mother and a house wife who lovingly took care of her family. She was also a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren.
She was also involved with her husband’s business, “Honor Tree Service” in Madison, often “behind the scenes” for many years.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter Sandy Nash Podimsky, and her children Dylan, Meghan and Haley Podimsky; and her son Chris Nash, his wife Sue Nash, and their children Austin, Samantha and Christopher; as well as many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her dear son Ernest, Jr., and her beloved husband Ernie.
She will be deeply missed but we know she is with her husband Ernie and son Ernest Jr. again.
