Obituary of Sandra L. Mount

Sandra Lynne Mount (née Ort), age 70, of Mine Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by family.

She was born on August 31, 1954, in Mendham, NJ.  She grew up in Mendham Township before living in Mine Hill for the past 43 years.  She married her husband Douglas and celebrated 50 wonderful years together.  She was a stay-at-home mom before starting to work with children at Kumon Math and Reading Centers and The Learning Experience.  She retired in 2020.  She loved her family more than anything and was always spending time with her 2 grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Douglas Mount, her children Douglas Mount Jr. and Pamela Nordhoff and her husband, Nicholas, her 3 brothers Stanley Ort and his wife, Elizabeth, Thomas Ort and his wife, Jenny, Steven Ort, and his wife, Wendy, her 2 grandchildren Brian and Kyle, and many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her mother, Genevieve Ort and Aunt, Jeri Rossman.

Visitation will be held on August 24, 2025, 2pm-5pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ.
