Obituary of Bryan Craig Stafford

Bryan Craig Stafford, 63, of Alpha, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 8, 2025.

He was born on December 15, 1961 in Glen Ridge, NJ and raised in Morristown, NJ. He was the beloved son of Rochelle H. Stafford and the late Andrew E. Stafford, Jr.

He graduated from Morristown High School in Morristown, NJ and attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Conway, South Carolina. After two years of study, Bryan realized he never wanted a desk job, and his passion was for the open road. So, he became a truck driver hauling freight across the country and eventually owned and operated his own rig. Most recently he was employed by Rick’s Backhoe where he worked until his final hours. He absolutely loved driving and would often take his family wherever they needed to go, even to California and back.

Bryan also loved animals, and took pride in spoiling his cat, Nicholas. He will be remembered for his kind, fun-loving and generous nature and no one will forget his devious laugh. His remembrance will forever be in the hearts of those lives he touched.

In addition to his mother, Bryan is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Juan) Valdez, Gail Malnarick and his brothers Christian (Marilyn), Justin and Jarrod Stafford, his nephews, Geoffrey Valdez, Brandon Malnarick, and Royce E. Stafford, nieces Mikaela, Michele and Miranda Malnarick, and Yadhira Stafford. Along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 2:00-5pm at the Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ 07940. Repast will be private.
