MARY WIBBELT CLARKE

December 3, 1929 – October 7. 2025 (95 years old)

Mary Wibbelt Clarke passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025 at her residence in Friends Village in Woodstown, New Jersey. Before her passing, her family was by her side and visited her often. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, to whom she was married to for 65 years.

She was born in Morristown, New Jersey and attended the local schools graduating in 1947 from Morristown High School. Her family was raised in Morris Township, New Jersey. She resided at Meslar Road until moving to the Oaks in Denville, New Jersey. Her final residence was in the Friends Village in Woodstown, New Jersey.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Richter, her grandson Jeff, her son Ted Clarke, his wife Beth (Padian) Clarke, grandson Matthew, his wife Laura, great granddaughter Kennedy, her grandson Ryan, his wife Meghann and great grandson Adam.

She was preceded by her parents Richard J. and Daisy (Smith) Wibbelt, Sr. of Morris Township, New Jersey and brother a Richard J. Wibbelt, Jr. (Gladys) of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Visiting hours will take place at Dangler’s Funeral Home in Morris Plains, New Jersey on October 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. A private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery after the viewing.
