Obituary of Charles Andrew Proskie, Jr.
Charles Andrew Proski Jr., 88, of Morristown passed away on October 14, 2025.
Born to the late Charles and Josephine Proskie, Sr. in Dover, Charles resided in the Lake Telemark section of Rockaway Township. He eventually moved to Morristown, where he graduated from Morristown High School, Class of 1956.
Charles enlistd in the U.S. Army in 1958. He proudly served his Country; and was honorably discharged in 1961.
Charles held an Electrical Contractor License for 30 years. He worked at JCP&L; and retired as a Crew Chief after 34 years.
In his spare time, Charles enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, playing golf, and tennis. He was also a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of The Eagles, Morristown.
Charles is survived by his dear sister, Joan Dulin, his niece, Erika Lucid, both of Florida; and great-nephews, Blaise Smith and Caiden Smith.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 3-6pm, with a Prayer Service at 5:30pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment of Ashes will be private.
