Obituary of Sarah Conlin
Sarah (Sally) Taylor Conlin passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on October 6th, 2025.
She was born on June 8th, 1935 and grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey. Sally lived for many years in Madison, New Jersey until relocating Tucson, Arizona four years ago.
She is predeceased by her parents Harold and Anne Taylor, her husband of 53 years Tom Conlin, her sisters Marilyn Mooney and Joan Beucke, her son David Conlin, and her great-grandson Matthew Decker. She is survived by her children Tom, Jr. and his wife Reni, Laurie Decker and her husband Jeff Liable, John Conlin and his wife Patti, and Maryanne Conlin. Her many grandchildren include Caitlyn, Colleen and Kevin Conlin, Ryan, David and Sarah Decker, Emily and Chris Conlin, John Paul and David Cottle as well as her great grand- children Joshua, Ashlyn and Olive Decker, Max, Myla, and Mikayla Decker.
Sally was loved by all for her kindness towards so many, her amazing sense of humor, her big personality, and playful nature. She loved vacationing at Lake Dunmore in Vermont and down the Jersey Shore. She also enjoyed shopping, singing, painting, dancing and being with her family and friends.
Sally graduated high school from Kent Place and went on to attend Bradford College. She grew her business Gemini Creations in her younger years where she expressed her exceptional artistic ability especially with her floral designs. In her later years, Sally was a realtor with Weichert Realtors.
She was also a member of the Junior League, Larks singing group, St. Vincents Church and Morris County Golf Club. Sally will be missed by so many and her memory will live on as we all continue to sing "The Boarding House Song."
There will be a wake Thursday evening November 13th at Burroughs & Kohr Funeral Home in Madison. The wake will be from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral services for Sally will be at St. Vincent’s Church in Madison on Friday, November 14th at 10:00 AM followed by her burial at St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
