Uncle Kevin was a one of a kind. Intelligent, silly, forthright. He was a wealth of knowledge that sometimes you'd think "how does he know all this?" Ultimately, I love him. He was a tremendous uncle. Provided excellent guidance, was a kind soul, and spoke truth. I sought his advice because he said it how it is - which is what you're looking.
My favorite memories are having history conversations with him. Revolution, Civil War, WWI, WWII, the list goes on. He was a walking encyclopedia, which was fantastic for me! I had more questions and loved to hear Kevin's knowledge. He was also incredibly silly. I loved laughing with Kevin, and it was in his nature to have fun/make fun.
God brought a loved one near to him. I will miss Kevin dearly, and am so, so thankful to have met such a wonderful man. I miss you Uncle Kevin. I will see you soon.

Hi Fats. I won't be at your service today - but you are with me. I laugh when you are present, share my soul with you, and want you to be happy. The best brother - the only person I know with no enemies - and a bonded family and friends that are deeply sad not to have you here. A rich man indeed. Please hold me in your heart; mine is breaking right now... I have so much to say, and so much to discuss with you in my prayers. I love you - and will reach out to you more than you might like. Tim

Q: How would you describe Kevin to someone who had never met them?
A: Kevin was a very intelligent person with great work ethic and a wonderful sense of humor. We were both employed at Donald F Smith and Associates many years ago and have stayed in touch ever since. He was a friend and a fellow insurance professional. I have great respect for Kevin and will miss our conversations. He was a good man who was taken away from his friends and family far too early.
God bless his soul and comfort his family during this difficult time. With respect and friendship forever.

Kevin and I were best friends since kindergarten (66 years ago in this case)!
Kevin was brilliant, crazy (in a good way) supremely intelligent, loyal, and with a unique kind that of wit that was second to none. In grade school we shared many “interesting” and memorable escapades. We parted ways when I moved away at 14 but still remained in close touch for years as adults. Whenever we spoke we were instantly back in the sixth grade. Great memories. It’s rare to find a friend like this and I’m going to deeply miss this guy for a very long time to come. Deepest sympathies for his family.

Carolyn, Evan and Corrine, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. He will be truly missed. I will always remember the barbecues in the nicer weather and how much fun they were with the music playing, dogs running around, the Bon Fires. I always had a great time. Kevin was extremely smart and I appreciated the knowledge he shared about different subjects and documentaries we watched at the house. I'm praying for you all and I am here for you whatever you need. God Bless you all.
