Marie Cimno was a wonderful woman. Working at Lantern Hill for 2 years, I got to know her very well. She has very strong Christian and family values. She has many values I see similar my own mother who passed just a year ago. I enjoyed her participation in the many different activities she was a part of. She will be missed tremendously. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time . Lysiane

My mom, Barbara, was a resident of Memory Care alongside Marie. She passed away a year ago to the very day of the loss of Marie. I'd visit daily, spending several hours with the group. Mom and Marie were tablemates, and I sat at the corner between them at dinner. Marie's glorious smile and personality were unlike any other. Always a charmer, appreciative and generous in spirit. Her inner light was so beautiful. I would bring in a knitting or crochet project to work on during movie time. It caught Marie's interest. and we'd chat about projects. She said she wanted to do her handwork again, so I brought in a hook and yarn. She could still do it! But one day she just stopped noticing. It broke my heart to see that part of her fade away. To her family: there must be an unfillable hole in your hearts. I am deeply sorry for your loss. She was without equal. And to Marie: I know God swooped you up to bring you straight to heaven. I'm imagining how thrilled you were when, young and vibrant again, He walked you in to find a shiny new coffeemaker just for you. At long last, Marie, you can enjoy as many cups as you want. You've earned that comforting pleasure, and so much more. Bless you and your entire family.
