My condolences to all of Bob’s family and close friends. We lost a very special man. I have gotten know Bob well over the last ten years and shared some special times on the golf course in Scotland and on the barrier reef in Australia.
He loved his family and was very proud to be a Father and Grandfather. Bob was a tenacious competitor as we all learned from the golf course and members at Hamilton Farm and Panther Valley know well.
Bob was legendary at his craft of Commercial Real Estate and was inducted into the NJ Hall of Fame. He was rehearsing his speech while we were away in Australia. It was a tribute to those around him and before him. It was humble and thankful. He took no credit and shared his gratefulness.
Of all the Real Estate deals that Bob closed, he was most proud of helping his Grandson Robbie close his recent lease in NYC. Robbie and his three other roommates as many others had a challenge finding a good apartment. When they did find an apartment to rent the broker was trying to shake them down for an additional fee. Bob figured out who owned the building and connected with him. He called in a favor and closed the deal. Bob shared the story with me and pride was centered on being able to help Robbie. We should all behave as Bob did.
We have been blessed to know Bob and I will certainly remember him for the rest of my life. I have been praying the rosary every day for his entry into Gods kingdom of heaven and have started a new stretching program in Bob’s memory. The last time we played golf, Bob was out driving us by 50yards. I remembered thinking , “How can a guy who is almost 80 years old hit the golf ball this far”!! Stretching and maybe Yoga will become part of my routine.
Love you Bob and God bless you !!!

My deepest sympathies to Robert's wife, Faith, on the loss of her husband, and to his son, Robert, and his family. My sympathies also to Robert's brother, Ken, and his family.
I had some frank and supportive conversations over the years with Robert concerning our family history. His father, whose nickname was Buster, was my dad's oldest brother, and the best man at my parents' wedding. I greatly appreciated those conversations with Robert.
I hope that Robert's family will be able to hold onto good memories as they grieve his loss.
Love,
Mark Donnelly

Bob was a legendary deal maker across the industry but also a mentor to many and a quiet philanthropist helping to lift up others. Thanks for sharing your wisdom through the years.

Not only a business colleague of integrity, honesty, and just the plain truth, but a great friend, whose friendship I cherished long after my retirement.
As much is Bob was one of the most astute businessman I knew, he was a better friend that cherished his family and times together.
His smile will be remembered by all.
Rest in peace, my friend.

Bob truly embodied the strengths and talents to create success , not just for himself but others around him .
I met Bob at Cushman and Wakefield over 40 + years ago, his “energy” and practical wisdom shared with those around him.
His dedication to his commercial real estate industry career was only surpassed by his devotion to his Family, and Community.
He will be missed by many.
