Obituary of Linda Anne Lobozzo

 Linda Lobozzo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 21,2025. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, to the late John Walter Collins and Carmela “Lilly" (Basile) Collins.  

Linda shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Giuseppe “Joseph” Lobozzo. The two met in high school and were married for 58 years, building a life rooted in love, loyalty, and shared memories. Their marriage was a testament to enduring partnership and deep devotion.

Above all else, Linda was devoted to her family. She was the mother of Dianna Lobozzo Carroll, and her husband, James, and to her son, Joseph Lobozzo Jr., and his wife, Rachelle. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, she affectionately referred to as “her bugs”, James Jr. and Madeline, who brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Lobozzo, of Chatham, New Jersey, along with her children, grandchildren, and her sister Patricia Capra who resides in Florida, all will deeply miss her.

Linda also was pre deceased by her brother John Collins Jr. 

Family and friends are welcome to gather on December 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass for Linda will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10:00am at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. 

Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, remembered for her kindness, elegance, and unwavering devotion to her family.
