Obituary of Clara Rose Morano

Clara Rose Morano, 85, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Born on September 12, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, Clara was raised there and carried her love of family, creativity, and tradition throughout her life. She later lived in Great Kills, Staten Island, and Holmdel, New Jersey, before settling in Florham Park in 2009, where she made her home for the past sixteen years.

Clara was a remarkably talented artist and painter, expressing her creativity through her artwork and her beautiful gardens, which she tended with great care and joy. While her artistic gifts were many, her greatest passion was always her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt whose warmth, generosity, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Morano, and by her parents, Olindo and Regina Forlani.

Clara is survived by her sons, Joseph Morano and his wife Annie, and Richard Morano and his wife Ivette; her cherished grandchildren, Allison, Caroline, Christian, Sabrina, and John Morano; and her dear brother, Richard Forlani and his partner Sharon Flanders, along with his children Lyla, Willis and his wife Samantha, and MicAh and her husband Joe, and his grandchildren Amalia, Nathan, Andrew, Jaron, and Jada.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM at
St. Vincent Martyr Church

East Hanover, NJ 07936
