Obituary of Sally Kim Caccese

Sally Kim Caccese, 41, of Randolph, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following over a year-long illness from metastatic breast cancer, which she faced with extraordinary strength, courage, and grace.

Born on October 9, 1984, in Metairie, Louisiana, Sally was the youngest of three sisters. She spent her childhood in Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University, where she graduated with honors. Known for an eclectic and unmistakably personal sense of style, she began her professional career in fashion at Hugo Boss in New York City.

Sally later earned her Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University, where she also graduated with honors. She went on to dedicate more than 12 years of her career to Mars, Inc., where she worked in marketing and developed consumer insights for some of the company’s most iconic and beloved brands.

An avid traveler and passionate home chef, Sally delighted in exploring new cultures and cuisines. She embraced life with an adventurous spirit and was a true thrill seeker, snowboarding from Vermont to some of the highest mountains across Colorado and British Columbia.

Above all, Sally was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, and sister. She possessed a rare warmth and grace that made all who met her feel welcome and valued. Every connection she formed was meaningful, and her life was marked by kindness, generosity, and quiet elegance. Sally leaves behind a legacy defined by compassion and love, and her radiant spirit will be remembered and cherished by all whose lives she touched.

Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Richard; her beloved daughters, Rose Amelia and Colette Elara; her mother, Lynn Tran; and her sisters, Robin Macaluso (Joseph) and Kim Tran. She was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Camille Seren, and her father, Dan Tran.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 3-6pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. (*A steady flow throughout the Funeral Home will ensure all guests time to pay their respects.*)

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sally’s memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (https://www.komen.org/) or Knots of Love (https://www.knotsoflove.org/).
