Obituary of Jane E. Aussicker

Jane E. Aussicker, 82, passed away on February 3, 2026, at Florham Park Rehabilitation Center. Born in Morristown, NJ, she lived in Morris Plains for the past 58 years.

Jane graduated from Morristown High School with honors in 1961. She was CEO of Saveway Enterprises Courier Service, Morris Plains, for 16 years until she retired in May 1995. Jane was a member of the Hilldale Park Presbyterian Church, Cedar Knolls, NJ. Due to her love for animals, she was involved with many animal rescue organizations.

Jane is survived by her devoted husband, David H. Aussicker, and her loving son, Richard Aussicker and his wife, Mizuho, Plainville, Conn, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Aika Aussicker, and her partner, Calvin Leung. She is also survived by her brother, David Ellison and his wife, Kathy.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1-3pm with a service to follow at 3pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, NJ. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations may be made in Jane’ s memory to the Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Morris Plains Local 254, P O Box 461, Morris Plains, NJ  07950, and the Morris Minute Men, Emergency Medical Services, P O Box 192, Morris Plains, NJ 07950.

The family of Jane Aussicker would like to thank all the people who have helped Jane over the years with her health issues. The doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, emergency medical technicians, nurses’ aides, speech, occupational and physical therapists, all contributed to her well-being. A special thank you is for Erica Rodriguez and her family for their love and support for Jane for the last 11 years.
