Sue was a gem of a lady. She was kind, sweet, generous , loving and had a smile for all.We always enjoyed being with her when visiting Alyson and her beloved Jeff and family. Her love for her grandchildren Vanessa and Nicky shone through in her words and actions.
The entire Falvo Family will miss her dearly, but know she’s at peace being with her beloved son.
Sincere sympathy to Frank and all of the Leloia family.

Sue was one of a kind and I guess she'll continue to be in the friendships, family and friends she lived for: fellow English major at Gettysburg College and founder of "English Majors Forever," our group of five for so many years. Sue made sure we travelled together as EMFers until our ages and circumstances became more limited. For me personally, I loved our lunches at The Florham Park Diner--Linney, Janet and Beth lived in other states. Sue and I talked about everything. What a gift to have such a close, long-time friend. Her passion for teaching affected so many of her students and fellow teachers, too. But if there was anything she was the best at it was being Frank's wife and Mimi to her two beautiful grandchildren and support for their Mom Allison who lost Jeff too soon. I pray that she is with her son, Jeff, who she missed to terribly. Traveling mercies, Sue!! May you rest in God's overwhelming Grace and Love. Hooty (Diana Clark)

Tribute To Our Loving Mimi
Your love shaped Nicky and me in many ways. You were a part of our whole childhood and more.
Some of my happiest memories were teaching us how to bake chocolate chip cookies, our trip to Rocking Horse Ranch, and shopping for little things I wanted. I will never forget the trip to see Frozen and Aladdin on Broadway and our family time in St. Maarten.
My memory that really touched my heart was when we talked about anything and everything. You always told us stories about our Dad when he was growing up. I will never forget all you told us.
We had so many sleepovers where you treated us so well and all that beautiful jewelry you gave me that I will always and forever love and let’s not forget all the Lego’s you gave Nicholas
You always made us feel so special and so loved and I remember we always did the Hokey Pokey at your house or my house. We loved listening to Christmas music in your car and will never forget all you gave us.
You always had treats for us and your poured your heart out into all you did for Nick and I.
Your worked with me as you introduced me to your churches Vacation Bible School which was an amazing experience.
Your love for us was unconditional and never ending.
We will always have a special place in our heart and Nicky and I will love you forever and ever.

I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of Sue’s passing. She gave me my very first teaching position. She supported me, encouraged me and kept in touch with me for so many years after we no longer worked together. She never had a negative thing to say and always gave me such wonderful advice. She was an amazing principal and obviously an incredibly proud Mimi. I am sending heartfelt hugs and condolences to her entire family now and always.

Sue was the first principal to hire me and guava me my start at the Morris School District many years ago. She taught me many things that I still use in my teaching career. She was simply the best. I have wonderful memories of her at Woodland school. May she rest in peace.

It is so sad and a shock to hear about Sue's passing. Dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, her love and joy for her family was so obvious. Our prayers go out to the entire family for strength and comfort.

I already feel such a loss of words, friendship and mostly you. Our long talks of our kids and grandkids were filled with love and laughter. The last time we spent 3 hours at a pastry shop in Morris Plains just remembering all our time in education and raising our sons. You were incredibly gifted in the field of education and Morris School District was blessed to have your expertise. The world lost a great lady but never to be forgotten by those whose lives you touched. Thank you for always being ready to support others. I appreciated you. ❤️

My heart is broken dear Sue that you are no longer physically with us but I know you are now with your beloved son Jeff. You were the most loving, kind, caring and thoughtful person to so many and I was honored to have been part of your beautiful life. Go now and soar with the angels while you watch over all of us. Sue Leloia has been taken from all of us and, most especially, from grandchildren who loved her so much
It’s heartbreaking as most everyone knows to lose a loved one.
Sue did so much for her grandchildren and Mimi, as she was called, will be missed dearly.
The circumstances were tragic and it’s hard to wrap my head around this untimely passing.
She joins her son, Jeff, in the next realm we call heaven
Mimi you were beyond a wonderland, kind and caring person and so devoted to your role as a Grandmother. I can’t even fathom what it will be without you and I pray you will send us signs from heaven and, in particular, to your 13yo granddaughter, Vanessa and 10yo Nicholas. She loved them beyond words.
She loved all her grandchildren so much and would praise each one to me consistently.
A few days before she gave Nicholas yet another Lego to put together and she brought the kids games to play on the vacation she was supposed to be at with family and friends.
We will all see you again
We all love you
We believe as you did in the next realm - Our real Home with our maker
Sue had Faith and taught her faith well to others
Until we see you again - if possible - send us signs and stay by your grandchildren’s side as they go through life without your physical presence. They have memories now that will stay with them forever.
You taught them the true meaning of what it means to Love
