Obituary of Nancy Jane Meeker Deighan

Nancy Jane Meeker Deighan, 63, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Murrells Inlet, SC. She lived in Morris Township, NJ, for 57 years prior to moving to South Carolina six years ago.

Nancy graduated from Thomas Edison University in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked for 40 years for Prudential Insurance before her retirement in 2024.

Nancy is survived by her husband, William Deighan, and her son, Patrick Deighan, and his wife, Ashley, as well as her father, James Meeker of Morris Township, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Coles James Dieghan and Logan Tyler Deighan, her nephew, James Meeker, III and his wife, Lexi, and her niece, Ruthie Adams, as well as her brothers James Meeker and his wife, Theresa, and Robert Meeker, and her sister, Audrey Meeker Adams and her partner, Walter Rutzler. She was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Meeker, in March 2004.

Visiting will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 10:00am-11:30am, with a Prayer Service at 11:30am, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, NJ.
