Obituary of David Fadden

David Fadden, 68, of Morristown, NJ, passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on February 28, 2026.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, David grew up in Ridgefield Park, NJ, before moving to Boston to complete his studies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, where he met his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathleen.

Thirty-six years ago, David settled in Morristown, where he built both his career and his family life. He worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing with Warner Lambert/Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson before founding Fadden Engineering LLC in Morristown. He operated his firm with dedication and integrity until his retirement in 2023.

A devoted member of Assumption Church in Morristown, David lived a life rooted in service. He participated in annual mission trips to Appalachia through Assumption Parish and served on the Board of the Morristown Public Library, generously giving his time and expertise to his community.

David is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen, of Morristown; his cherished children, Molly Fadden and Chris Fadden; his beloved father, John Fadden; his devoted sisters, Kim and Maria; and his dear nieces and nephews, Kelly, Claire, Paul, Frank, Emily, Thomas, Matthew, Grace, Mary, and Luke.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, 91 Maple Avenue, Morristown, NJ, followed by interment at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown.
