Obituary of James L. Pedicini

James “Jimmy” Leslie Pedicini, 71, passed away at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Newark, NJ, Jimmy lived for 44 years in Madison, NJ.

Jimmy graduated from Livingston High School. After graduating from Seton Hall University in 1976, he went on to earn an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was a member of St. Vincent Martyr Church, Elevated Life Church, the Madison YMCA and the Kiwanis Club.

Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife, Alvina Pedicini, his loving children, Elizabeth Michaels, and her husband, Chris, and son, Matthew Pedicini, as well as his cherished granddaughters, Callen and Remi Michaels. He is also survived by his beloved brother, Billy Pedicini, and cherished nieces and nephews, Alexis, Michael, Joseph, Lauren, Cary, Kira and Adam. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Pedicini.

Jimmy will be remembered as a man of deep faith, adventurous spirit, and immense love for his family. He had a passion for travel and saw much of the world, completing an incredible 207 cruises over the years — each one a reflection of his curiosity and appreciation for life’s experiences.

More than anything, he cherished his two granddaughters, Cali and Remi, who brought him endless pride and joy. Time spent with them was among the happiest moments of his life.

Jimmy also faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength and faith. After bravely battling multiple myeloma, he passed away peacefully. His unwavering faith brought him comfort in his final days, and his family takes solace in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is finally at peace.

A Memorial Mass for Jimmy will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 9:30am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, NJ. Interment will be private for the family.
