Obituary of Albert Michael Kohn

Albert Michael Kohn, 68, passed away on April 26, 2026, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Bayonne, NJ, prior to living in Charlottesville, VA, for 37 years.

Albert graduated from Bayonne High School and received an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Piedmont Community College in 2017. He was a member of the Masons. He proudly served his country in the US Army.

Albert is survived by his mom, Charlotte Kohn Abberman, his sister, Brenda Marchena, his brother, Kenneth Kohn, his stepbrother, Jonathan Abberman, and his stepsister, Wendy Karger. He is also survived by his nieces, Chani Aviner and Rebecca Ekman and his nephew, Nathan Marchena.

A funeral service was held on May 4, 2026, at 12:30pm at Cedar Park Beth El Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. The family kindly requests that donations be made in Albert’s memory to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
