Obituary of Anne M. Cahill

Please share a memory of Anne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anne Marie Cahill, 78, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 10, 1947, in Chatham, New Jersey, Anne lived a life defined by faith, service, and quiet devotion to those she loved.

Anne was a devoted Catholic whose steadfast faith guided her throughout her life. She found great meaning in her involvement with the Irish-American community, serving as a dedicated member of the Irish American Association and offering generous service as a member of the Sisters of Saint Brigid. Her commitment to her faith, heritage, and community reflected the kindness that characterized her life.

Professionally, Anne worked as an Administrative Assistant for Sudler Management for over 20 years, where she was respected for her diligence, reliability, and warm spirit. She approached her work with the same care and dedication that she brought to every aspect of her life. The Sudler’s were cherished by Anne, and they always treated her like family, which is a blessing that her own family will forever treasure.

Anne was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas Cahill and Catherine Bradshaw Cahill.

She is survived by her loving son, Erik Larsen, her daughter, Laura Staar, and her grandson Dylan Staar, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Her family was a source of great pride and joy, and she remained a constant presence of love, encouragement, and faith throughout their lives.

Those who knew Anne will remember her unwavering faith, and the quiet strength with which she faced life's challenges. Her life was marked not by grand gestures, but by countless acts of kindness, compassion, and devotion to others. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, faith, and love that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

May she rest in the peace of Christ and be reunited with those who have gone before her.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 4-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ. (*A steady flow throughout the Funeral Home will ensure all guests time to pay their respects.*) A Mass to Celebrate Anne's life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 9:30am at Assumption Church, 91 Maple Avenue, Morristown, NJ.
