Obituary of Adeline Patalano
Adeline "Adele" Patalano, 89, passed away on August 2, 2026, in Morristown, NJ, where she had lived for 42 years.
She was educated at Brooklyn College and went on to build a long career with Exxon, working in New York before retiring from Exxon's Florham Park, NJ location in 1997 after nearly 40 years of dedicated service.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel, Thomas, and Frank Patalano. Adele is survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Patalano. Adele is also survived by four nephews and two nieces.
Adele was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption, Morristown, NJ.
Adele was known for her warm and congenial nature. She cherished her enduring friendships with former coworkers who became close friends. Every year, they gathered together to celebrate birthdays. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Church of the Assumption.
Entombment will take place at Holy Rood Cemetery, 61 Whippany Road, Morristown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Adele may be made to the Church of the Assumption, 91 Maple Avenue, Morristown, NJ.
