Obituary of Maryann Valiant Pelosi

Maryann Valiant Pelosi, 64, of Randolph passed away on December 31, 2018.

Born in Elizabeth, Maryann resided in Carteret before moving to Randolph 25 years ago. Maryann graduated from Carteret High School and earned her A.A.S. in Marketing from Middlesex County College. She was a homemaker, who took great enjoyment in caring for her beloved family and hosting as well as spending time in the company of her friends.

Maryann enjoyed antiquing; collecting sheep art; crafting; and watching sports activities of her children and grandchildren.

Maryann is survived by her loving husband, Paul; and her devoted children, Vincent Pelosi (Theresa), of Manalapan, Alana Pelosi (Pierson Van Raalte), of Denville, and Nicholas Pelosi (fiancé Corine Turnbull), of Randolph. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Judith Pamplin, of Middletown, and Eva Valiant (Richard Vandeventer), of Brielle; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Joey and Jackie Pelosi; and 15 adored nieces and nephews. Maryann was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Valiant and James Valiant, and her parents, Genare and Catherine Valiant.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Maryann will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:30am at Resurrection Parish, 651 Millbrook Road, Randolph. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.
