Obituary of Marcia M. Hrabar

Marcia Marie Hrabar peacefully passed into God’s loving embrace on February 22, 2017 at the age of 77. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on August 19, 1939 to John and Sophie (Solovey) Hrabar, Marcia attended Benedictine Academy and the University of Mary Washington, and spoke fondly of her college years. She taught elementary school in Elizabeth until her retirement. She loved to travel, and particularly enjoyed going to Disney World with her beloved grandchildren as often as possible. Marcia was a devoted mother and grandmother, and a fiercely loyal friend to many. She was deeply committed to her faith, which brought her joy and comfort. She was predeceased by her parents and Marcia’s son, Joseph John Cutaio. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Cutaio O’Malley, Kimberly’s husband Matthew, and their children Mark and Gillian; her brother Raymond Hrabar and his wife Barbara; and Marcia’s nephews Scott, Chris and Ken Hrabar. Viewing will be from 2:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, February 26 at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, Main Street, Madison. A funeral Mass will be held at Assumption Church, Maple Avenue, Morristown on Monday, February 27 at 10:00, with burial following at Holy Rood Cemetery, Whippany Road, Morristown. Should friends desire, contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Catholic charity of your choice or the American Arthritis Foundation.
