Obituary of Mildred M. Pagano

~~Mildred M. (nee Bencivengo) Pagano died peacefully in her home in Cedar Knolls on May 25. She was 95 years old.

Mildred was very social and loved to be with people and her family.

Mildred was born on June 7, 1921 in Netcong, NJ. She lived in Morris Plains NJ for 46 years until moving to Cedar Knolls in 2003.

She is survived by her children, Arlene Surek, of Leonardo, NJ, Geraldine Cataudella, of Denville, NJ, Lewis C. Pagano, of Montclair, NJ, and Paul Pagano, of Morris Township, NJ; and their spouses.

She was also predeceased by her husband, Carmen J. Pagano; her grandson, Brian M. Mooney; her parents, Justine and Pasquale Bencivengo; and her 8 siblings. She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Lester Wyatt, Scott Mooney, Michael Pagano, Mathew Pagano, Lisa Nemec, Danielle Smith, and Dominick Cataudella; and 6 great-grandchildren; and their spouses.

Mildred was an active and dedicated member Notre Dame of Mt Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, NJ.

Viewing will be at Dangler Funeral Home in Morris Plains, NJ on May 30th from 4-8 PM. Her funeral mass will be at Notre Dame Carmel Church at 10 AM on May 31st with burial at Holy Rood Cemetery with her beloved husband.
